2026 MIPS Value Pathway Registration Is Open

The registration window to report a MIPS Value Pathway (MVP) for the 2026 performance year opened on April 1 and will close on November 30, 2026, at 8 pm ET. If you are planning to report an MVP in 2026, you must register to report it.

If you choose to report both an MVP and traditional MIPS, CMS will assign you the higher of the two scores.

Which MVPs are Available for Reporting?

There are 27 MVPs available to report in 2026. For each MVP relevant to specialties we serve, we have created an individual blog specific to that MVP.

Steps to Register for an MVP

1. Sign in to your QPP account.
2. Select the Registration tab on the left-hand navigation menu and click “Register or edit an MVP registration.”
3. Select your organization under either the Practices or APM Entities tab.
4. Click on your reporting option: group, individual, or subgroup.

5. 1. If you are reporting at the group level, you will have the chance to attest to being a single-specialty group or a small multi-specialty group (15 or fewer clinicians).
   2. If you report at the group level and are part of a large multi-specialty group (more than 15 clinicians), you are required to report at the subgroup level in 2026.
6. On the MVP Registration Details page, select the MVP you plan to report.
7. Once you have filled out all the required fields, click on “Back to MVP Registration,” and you should see the MVP Registration Status marked “Complete” with a green check mark.
