Upcoming Deadline for ASC Quality Reporting: Quarter 1 OAS CAHPS
The deadline to submit your 2025 quarter 1 (Q1) OAS CAHPS data is rapidly approaching. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) requires 2025 Q1 OAS CAHPS data be submitted by July 9, 2025, at 8 pm ET.

Important Information and Recommendations
As the deadline approached, we recommend you take the following steps:
- Ensure data have been submitted by your survey vendor without errors.
- To access these reports, click on the “Data Submission Reports” link under the “For Facilities” menu tab after logging into the website.
- If your data have not been submitted, contact your survey vendor to get a date you can expect it by and follow up on that date to ensure the submission was on time and without errors.
- CMS will not accept any data files for the January, February, and/or March 2025 sample months after 8:00 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
Important OAS CAHPS Dates and Deadlines
The data submission deadlines for the 2025 ASCQR OAS CAHPS measure are:

| 2025 Quarter 3 | January 14, 2026 |
| 2025 Quarter 4 | April 8, 2026 |

What Happens if I Don’t Report OAS CAHPS?
Starting in 2025, the OAS CAHPS measure will be linked to reimbursement. If you are eligible for the survey and do not qualify for an exemption, you must report the OAS CAHPS measure. Failure to do so will result in a -2% penalty in your annual fee schedule update.
